Majel Joan Fletty, age 83 of Apple Valley, MN passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2026. Majel was born on November 23, 1942 in Albert Lea, MN to Chester and Esther (Erdner) Nelson. She was raised on a farm just outside of Freeborn, MN and graduated from Freeborn High School. Majel worked as an accountant for Bachman’s Floral for many years before her retirement. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John “Jack” Fletty; daughter, Nancy Mohs, and sisters-in-law, Judy, and Bev Nelson. Majel is survived by her son-in-law, Jonathan Mohs, and her two brothers, Curtis, and Dennis Nelson, Brother-in-law: Mike Fletty (Jennie), also by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends,

Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13801 Fairview Dr., Burnsville with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10 AM. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
