Marguerite "Tanny" Marie Findlay age 91 of Burnsville, MN formerly of Farmington, MN passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at her home. Tanny was born on March 22, 1935, in St. Paul, MN to Fred and Helen (Martin) Westbrook. Tanny attended Marshall High School in St. Paul, MN and married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Paul Findlay on August 22, 1953.

Tanny is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Thomas, and her parents. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Cynthia) Findlay of Burnsville, daughters, Ava Marie (Rob) Sawinski of Zumbro Falls, April (Andrew) Elmer of Farmington and Amy (Todd) Liberty of Apple Valley. Tanny will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Avery Backlund, Ryan Sawinski, Adam Sawinski, Alyssa Sawinski, Carl Elmer, Kelli Elmer, Mandee Liberty and Matthew Liberty. Along with the great grandchildren, Bowie and Finnegan Backlund, Blake,William and Isabella Sawinski, Harrison and Remi Liberty; a sister, Frances Hemmesch, and other family and friends, along with her beloved Bichon, Abby.

Memorial Service will be held 9:30 AM Wednesday July 29, 2026, at the White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave. Burnsville, MN with a gathering of family and friends starting at 8:30 AM. Tanny will be laid to rest with her husband, Thomas at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
