Mary Jane Heroux Franzen, age 79 of Apple Valley passed away peacefully on June 29, 2019.

Mary Jane lived her life to serve the lord and others. She grew up in St Paul MN and became a cosmetologist. Soon after was married on August 1 ^st 1959 to husband Ken Franzen. They raised five children. Mary Jane was a volunteer for many things bible study leader, CCD, Women's aglow, School band Trips, Nursing Homes, Daycare and church choir. In 1983 Ken and Mary Jane purchased a summer cabin on Big Pine Lake where she enjoyed fishing and sitting on the porch watching the humming birds. She also enjoyed planting flower gardens and family time at the Lake. In 1997 Ken and Mary Jane became snow birds in Florida where she enjoyed singing, bible studies, English tea party president, bingo and fellowship. She will be greatly missed by all.

Preceded in death by parents, Clara McNeal Heroux, Ellsworth Heroux and Ann Heroux. Siblings, Marvin, Clairene, Roger, Joan. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Ken; children, Kenneth Jr., Nancy (Ray) Johnson, Sue Franzen (David Gehrke), Tracy (Steve) Sharpe, and Wenda (Keith) Burandt; grandchildren, Melissa (Jake), Josiah, Nathan, Kodi, John Morgan, Brandon (Ashley), Mason, Hunter, Skylar, and Chancellor; great grandchildren, Mia, Eli and Lexi; siblings, Ardell (Jim) Phoenix, Daryl (Sylvia) Heroux, Virgil (Debrah) Heroux, and Jean (Pete) Kirkey; also by other loving relatives and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 Cty. Rd. 42, Burnsville. Visitation from 10-11 AM prior to the service at church.
