Farmington

Obituary

Mary (Murphy) Stover, 70, of Farmington passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025 surrounded by those she loved after a year long battle with multiple health issues.

Mary graduated high school from Farmington Minnesota in 1973. She had her daughter, Lisa Marie that following October of 1973. Mary loved going to and hosting garage sales, and finding her "treasures" by thrifting and picking things up on the curb to bring new life to old things. Her favorite season was Fall, and she loved decorating for the seasons. She loved to carve pumpkins and color Easter eggs with her grandkids, Claire and James. She enjoyed visiting with friends at the Farmington Lanes and spent every Sunday there with her grandson James for lunch. She enjoyed facetiming (with help) her granddaughter, Claire, who lives out of state. Anyone who knew Mary, knew that she could be cynical, but in a humorous way. She always had a funny comment under her breath. She was loved by so many for her caring and fun ways. She was the hug you didn't know you needed, she will be missed so deeply by so many.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Pat Murphy of Farmington. Mary is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Ryan) Jenrich, Grandkids: Claire and James Lorenzen, and Brothers Tom (Julie), Tim (Judy), and Sister Kathy (Bill) Larson, along with many close friends whom she shared many good times with.

There will be a celebration of life at the Farmington Lanes on Sunday, October 26th from 1pm-4pm. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
