Matthew Joseph Korte, age 44, of ST. Michael, MN formerly of Burnsville, MN passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2026. Matt was born on April 1, 1981, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He grew up in Burnsville and was a 1999 graduate of Burnsville High School. After graduation he received his bachelor's degree in business from Bethel College. Matt worked in research and development for a medical device company.

Matt is survived by his loving daughter, Hannah; parents, Steve, and Celeste; siblings, Mary (Michael) Schreuder, and Stewart (Jenna) Korte; nephew and niece, Royal and Renata.

Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM Friday February 13, 2026, at the White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave S. Burnsville, (952-894-5080) with a gathering of family and friends starting at 4 PM. Memorials will be donated to Covenantpines.org and Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge.
