Miller, Michael D. Age 79 of Gold Canyon, Arizona formerly of Minneapolis, passed peacefully at his home March 29, 2025. Mike was a standout athlete in multiple sports at West High School before joining the Army. He successfully built his business (Mike Miller Machine Co.) through hard
work, street smarts, dealings in integrity and doing what came naturally…building lifelong relationships. He will be remembered for his silly sense of humor, hosting weekends at the lake, his deep love for his family and country, and the light he brought with him wherever he went.
Michael is preceded in death by parents, John and Vivian, and Evelyn Miller; 5 brothers (Dennis, Steven, Jimmy, Phillip, John (Bud); 3 sisters (Pat, Faye, LaRayne). Survived by: his wife of 43 years, Christine (Lynch) Miller, Sons: Michael "Mick" (Michelle) Miller and Daniel Miller; grandchildren: Kelsi (Austin) Warner, Danielle (Steven) Nevitt, Lucy Miller; great grandchildren: Lyon, Nevaeh, Boaz, Everly, Bentley, Hartley; step-grandchildren: Evan (Olivia) Gesk and Jonah Gesk (Cassidy); Siblings: Phyllis, Karen, Judy, and Donna. Sister-in-laws: Pat Miller, Marlene Miller and Sylvia Miller and a gazillion nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11am at River Valley Church-Crosstown Campus (10801 Red Cr. Dr.) Minnetonka, MN 55343. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10-11am prior to the service.
