Micheal Jay Hutton, age 70 went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 27, 2025.  He was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa and was raised in Ottumwa, Iowa.  He attended Ottumwa High School, Ottumwa Heights Junior College and Iowa State University.

Micheal is survived by his loving Wife, Terry; Stepchildren, Paul (Sarah) Ostby, Peter (Kirsten) Ostby, Daniel Ostby, and Hannah (Brian) Lombardi; Grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Dani, Amelia, Abby, William, Luke and James; Son, Alex Carlson, Special Uncle, Sam (Joan) and other friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Max and Shirley (nee Howk) Hutton, Grandparents, Iva Haines, Edgar and Neva Howk, and Son, Cason.

Micheal worked for Hy-Vee for 20 years, Wells Dairy for 8 years, opened and managed PetSmart in Oakdale in the 90's, and retired from Hobby Lobby.  He went back to work for some "fun money" at Trader Joe's, and worked there for 2.5 years before his illness.

Mike had a "need for speed" and loved his "hot" cars, in particular he loved showing friends and family his souped-up Ford Taurus and Ford Thunderbird.

He will be truly missed by his friends and relatives, especially his family.

Funeral Service for Micheal will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, located at 2829 West 102nd Street, Bloomington, MN  55431 ( 952-767-2429 ).  Visitation begins at 10:00AM at the church.
