Nancy
Timm
Dec 3, 1956 — Nov 26, 2025
Burnsville
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Timm, a beloved friend, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Nancy left us peacefully on November 26th, at the age of 68, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and a spirit that will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was an avid Disney enthusiast, finding magic in the small moments and the grand adventures alike. Her love for Disney wasn't just about the movies or the parks—it was about the joy of connection, the beauty of storytelling, and the childlike wonder that she carried with her throughout her life. Whether she was listening to her favorite Disney songs, visiting the parks, or sharing the magic with her loved ones, Nancy's enthusiasm was infectious, bringing a smile to everyone around her.
Family and friends were at the heart of her world. She poured love and care into every relationship, always making time to celebrate and support the people she cherished. Whether hosting gatherings, offering a listening ear, or sharing moments of joy, she built a network of deep, lasting connections that reflected her compassionate nature and loving spirit.
Nancy also had a lifelong love of animals. A devoted member of the Minnesota Zoo, she was passionate about wildlife and spent many hours learning about and supporting the animals she held dear. Her love for animals extended to her own home, where she took great care of her beloved pets, from cats and dogs to horses, and even a tortoise, each of whom she treated as part of her family.
In her career at Bachman's in Apple Valley, Nancy found a space to nurture not only her love for plants but also her gift for sharing that passion with others. With many close friends and colleagues, she became a source of inspiration and a mentor to those who were lucky enough to work alongside her. Her knowledge of gardening and horticulture was vast, but it was her warm, welcoming presence that made her a true standout. Whether advising customers on the best plant for their home or sharing a friendly conversation with a coworker, Nancy was always there to brighten someone's day.
An avid crafter, she was known for her hands-on approach and joy in making beautiful pieces, keepsakes, and scrapbooks. From handmade mementos to seasonal decorations, she took pride in making things with love, a true reflection of the care she put into every aspect of her life.
Nancy was firm in her faith and lived that out in many ways. She was a member at Hosanna for many years, she gave to outreach and missionary organizations to change lives around the world, and she participated in local faith small groups. Nancy recently enjoyed attending Prince of Peace with her family and grandchildren. She was a shining example of living by faith with her daily devotions, study of the Bible, and prayer.
Though her physical presence may no longer be with us, Nancy's legacy of love for family, friends, animals, nature, and all things magical will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She taught us to embrace life's wonders, to cherish the beauty around us, to celebrate each other, and to always make time for those we love. Her devotion, gentle care, and the joy she brought to all who knew her will be greatly missed.
