Nedra J. Confer. age 75 of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 6, 2020. Nedra was born on December 31, 1944 to Richard and Gwendolyn Stephenson in Utica, New York. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Michael John Confer and siblings, Wava Hamilton and Hugh Stephenson. Nedra is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John "Jack" Confer; children, Jill (Michael) Murphy, Holly (Brad) Champlin and Robert (Kristina) Confer; grandchildren, Maddie and Olivia Murphy, Josie and Liliana Champlin and Cooper and Quinn Confer; sister, Treva (Lewis) Peavey, also by other relatives and many friends.

She grew up in Sauquoit, NY and spent 13 years with her family in Chadwicks, NY before moving to Apple Valley, MN in 1984. She attended St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center with a degree in nursing.   Nedra was a devoted wife, caring mother and doting grandma. Some of her hobbies were gardening, sewing and cooking. She loved spending time with family – laughing, telling stories and playing games. She enjoyed trips to the cabin and yearly trips back to New York and Florida.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 24, 2020 11 AM at Church of the Risen Savior 1501 County Rd 42 E, Burnsville, MN 55306. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donation to the American Cancer Society or St. Croix Hospice.
