Patrick (Pat) John Rudiger, age 74, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026. Born and raised in Lakeville, Minnesota by his parents Clarence and Beverly and siblings Michael and Joan at their beautiful family home on Lake Marion. Pat grew up attending All Saints Catholic School, played football as a Lakeville Panther, worked at Enggrens Grocery Store, and lived a life surrounded by family, friendships, fun, and lasting memories with those he loved.

Pat and Monica Rudiger shared 17 years of marriage and the privilege of raising their two children, Dan and Rachel. As a family, they enjoyed many happy times together, including days spent at the lake, gatherings with friends in their community, and memorable trips exploring the country. Throughout his life, Pat embraced many professional endeavors, including several dedicated years with Freightmasters in Eagan, MN, taking great pride in work he enjoyed.

Later in life, Pat found companionship with his wife, Cynthia (Cyndy) Rudiger. Together they built a life in the Hayward, Wisconsin area, where they enjoyed owning and operating Twin Oaks Bar and Grill. Pat was always ready for a party and could make friends with just about anyone. Whether Pat was working in his “man cave”, fishing off the dock, feeding the deer, or hosting family and friends, he enjoyed the simple beauty of northern Wisconsin with Cyndy. Pat’s ability to make everyone feel welcome created countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Pat was preceded in death by his devoted parents Clarence and Beverly Rudiger and his beloved wife, Cyndy Rudiger, who passed earlier this year. While their separation was brief, those who loved them find comfort in imagining their reunion.

Pat is survived by his children, Dan Rudiger (Melanie) and Rachel Rudiger; stepson, Bradley Fuhrman (Heidi) and stepdaughter, Christine Murray (Luke). His memory will carry on through his grandchildren: Austin, Myra, Madeleine, Lauryn, Lance, Brenna, and Blake. Also surviving are his brother, Michael Rudiger (Jean); and sister, Joan Rudiger (Dan Jackson); and his nieces, nephew, extended family, and a network of friends who were like family.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Friday September 18th, 2026, from 12pm – 3pm at White Funeral Home (20134 Kenwood Trail) in Lakeville Minnesota. Family and friends are encouraged to gather and share memories in his honor.
