Paul Arthur August Brummund, age 83, of Hastings, MN, passed away on April 27, 2026. Paul was born in Hastings, MN, to Herbert and Esther Brummund. He graduated from Farmington High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Paul worked as a welder for Lull Engineering in Eagan and LeJeune Steel in Minneapolis. He was a kind and generous man, always willing to help others and never hesitated to lend a hand. Paul enjoyed many years of bowling and playing golf. He also loved singing in the church choir and singing to people for their birthdays.

Paul was a passionate Minnesota sports fan, enduring many lows, very few highs, and more than a few broken remotes. He was always ready for an adventure, which often included many crazy moments and amazing stories. He will be remembered for his kind, loving, and generous spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice, his parents, and his brothers: Albert, David, Herbert Jr., Lawrence (Boomer), and brother-in-law Alan Justen. He is survived by his children, Cassandra and Troy (Meghan); his grandchildren, Josh (Ashley) and Callie Rose; and his great-grandchildren, Anthony, Cassie Lynn, and Ryder.
