Ramona Teresa Fite (Mona) was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in June of 1948.  She passed away at Our Lady of Peace, in St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 13th, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Mona is survived by two siblings: George Kanellis and Kathryn Koffron, one daughter: Leslie (Doug) Smith, three grandchildren: Ranae Peterson, Tyler (Rachel) Smith, and Jordan Smith, and 6 great-grandchildren: Torrence, Dominic, Veronica, William, Charlotte, and Hudson.

Mona volunteered as an ESL Teacher for School District 191 and loved teaching her students.  She also inspired people everywhere with her creative ideas and thoughtful words.  Her faith in Christ was strong until the end and it is with our Lord that she now peacefully resides.  Forever will she be missed—forever will she be loved.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at White Funeral Home, located at 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota.  There will be a Visitation one hour prior to the Funeral, beginning at 10:00 AM.
