Rick and Bridgitte raised their two boys, Christopher and John, in a military community in West Germany before Rick's retirement from the Army in 1990. Rick enjoyed telling stories with fellow veterans, was a passionate fisherman, and loved
watching golf. He loved his Minnesota sports teams, especially his beloved Vikings. His greatest joy was spending time with his family as he watched it grow with multiple grandchildren over the years. Rick was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet and the best husband, father, Opa, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by everyone and we are lucky to have had him in our lives.
