Richard Day passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026.

Richard is survived by his wife, Odessa Day; children, Sandra Day, Morris (Lorena) Day, Derrick (Mai) Day, Bryan (Antonia) Day, Michelle Chase, Darryl (Heather) Martin, and Dewayne (Karen) Martin; 37 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Arthur (Danya) Day Jr., Sheri (William) Wheatley, Stevie (Heidi) Day, Patsy Johnson, Deni (Christopher) Carruth, Tami Day, and Marcia Day; also by other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Day Sr.; mother, Bertha Washington; sister, Darlene King; brother, Edward Day; nephew, Kevin King; and niece, Cheryl Ann Day-Kirk.

Richard will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all those whose lives he touched. His love for his family and the memories they shared will remain in their hearts for generations to come.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Christian Family Church, 7375 Bush Lake Road, Edina, MN 55439, with visitation from 9:30–10:30 AM prior to the service at church.

Visitation will also be held from 5:00–8:00 PM Monday, November 9, 2026, at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, MN 55124.
