Rodney Duane Braun, age 74, formerly of Beldenville, Wis. passed away peacefully with family at his side on May 12, 2026 at The Moments, in Lakeville, MN. Rod was born on March 7, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI to Markus and Nettie (nee: Lick) Braun. He entered the US Navy were he proudly served his country. Rod worked as a Machinist for Smead Manufacturing for more than 30 years before his retirement.

Rod is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings, Jeff, and Allen Braun and Deann (Kevin) Gayken, and Denise and her husband Brian Lankford, of Bismarck, ND, also by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, where he will be buried with military honors.
