Ronald Patrick Cummings, 68, of Rosemount Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2022.

Ron was born on February 3, 1954 to Elmo and Irma Cummings in Chicago, IL. In 1970 Ron and Kim met and later married on May 25, 1974. They went on to have 3 children Nicole, Trisha, and Matthew. Ron, Kim, and family moved from Illinois to Minnesota in April 1979 where Ron began his career at Northwest/Delta Air Lines. In 2019, Ron retired after 40 years of service and spent his retirement enjoying family time, going to the lake, and playing his scratch offs.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Sheila Cummings, sister-in-law Donna Cummings, brother John Cummings, and father-in-law Michael Ciancanelli. Ron is survived by his wife Kimberly Cummings, daughters: Nicole Cummings (Andy Mutch) and Trisha Todd (David), son Matthew Cummings (Taylor), grandchildren: Brenna (Joseph) Zavala, Mason Cummings, Alyssa Saleen, Cody Saleen, Jack Cummings, Max Mutch, Scarlett Fischer, and Cash Fischer, great grandson Luca Patrick Zavala. Sister Joan Cummings, Brothers: Tom "Dirt" Cummings (Mary Lou Theis), Tim Cummings (Molly), Jim Cummings (Carol), Richard Cummings, and Robert Cummings (Kathy), brother-in-law Kevin Ciancanelli (Sandy), sister-in-law Kristi Kunesh, an amazing mother-in-law Marilyn Ciancanelli, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington (651-463-7374) on Tuesday March 8, 2022 from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations for Hero's & Helpers and 360 Communities Rosemount both organizations Ron felt strongly about.
