It is with heavy hearts that we share that Ronald (Ron) DeMars passed away peacefully and joined our Lord on March 23 at the age of 85 after a short battle with leukemia. A loving grandfather, father, brother, husband, son, and friend, Ron passed away surrounded by family and conveniently right before 5:00 for happy hour in heaven. Known for his laugh that could fill a room, his profound care for others, his appreciation of a simple Manhattan (extra sweet, but not too sweet), his exceptional grilling, and his love of hunting and fishing, Ron will be deeply missed by those who were privileged to have him in their lives.

Ron led a successful 60+ year career, starting in engineering for the government before pivoting to tech sales, and eventually founding his own manufacturers' representative company, CRI, which he ran for many decades. His favorite times were spent every weekend at his beloved lake home in Minong, Wisconsin, enjoying outdoor activities, gourmet meals, quiet sunsets on the pontoon, and quality moments with friends and family.

Preceded in death by his beloved son, Jon, and many dear friends and family, Ron is survived by his wife, Karlyn; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia (David) Bollig; brother, Bob; and grandchildren, Lindsey (Logan) Falzone, Andy Bollig (Wesley Just), Sydney Bollig, Joey Bollig, and Hailey DeMars.
