Ronald James
Wagner-Hainka
Jan 29, 1957 — Jun 13, 2025
St. Paul
Ronald James Wagner (Hainka), (Ronnie-Papa) of St. Paul, MN was born January 29, 1957 in Northfield, MN. Beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend. Ronald passed away on Friday June 13, 2025 at the young age of 68, after a courageous battle with cancer (lung and bone). Ronnie will be remembered as someone who loved his girls and son, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Ronnie enjoyed many activities and hobbies, such as riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing, doing woodwork, building model cars, and trucks, shooting pool, doing puzzles, drawing and doing tattoo's.
One of his biggest joys of life was helping others whenever and however he could. Ronnie was truly a man who wore many hats, a jack of all trades in so many words. Ronnie was married to Lisza (Miho) for many years and had 2 children and later divorced and stayed best friends. Ronnie leaves behind and will be deeply missed by his daughters Becky, Amanda, Shilada (Brandon), and son Luke; grandchildren, Austin, Trina, Destiney, Raylyn, and McKenzie. Ronnie is survived by his mother Ione Brezina and uncle Charlie Goodwater; siblings, Darryl (Kay) Hainka, Ken Hainka, David (Carrie) Hainka, David Dawley, Gene (Mary) Wagner, Chris (Donna) Wagner, Randy (Vicki) Barker, and Mike Barker; sister, Cheryl Hainka, Marcene (Mike) Linder, Lori Hainka, and Peggy (Darryl) Eichenbergen, and many, many loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephew. Also by many cousins and Lisza the love of his life and Pam his significant other and many, many friends.
Ronnie will be deeply missed and we all love him. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wagner, David Hainka, Edward (pappa Ed) Brezina; sister, Suzie Wagner and Nephew Justin Hainka, and sister-in-law, Linda Dawley; grandparents, Ludwig and Anna Wagner, and Arthur and Arlene Hainka.
Part of Ronnie's wishes is that his body was accepted to the U of M donation program for research on his disease. There is going to be a Celebration of Life for Ronnie on October 11, 2025 at 3 PM at the Farmington VFW, 421 3rd St., Farmington, MN 55024. Please come and celebrate with us. There will be food, treats, water and pop.
