Sandi was born on August 31st, 1953 in Chariton, Iowa to Richard L. Jones and Ruth V. Jones (Adams). She attended Ankeny High School and graduated in 1971. While in high school, she participated in the Pep Club, Girls Glee Club, Mixed Chorus, Drama Club, and Honor Society. After graduating high school, she went to work immediately for Capp Homes in Des Moines, IA in the accounting department where she worked from1971 to 1973.

On August 18, 1973, she wed Dan Di Marco and to this union, 2 children were born, Andrew D. and Shaun P. They lived in Richfield, Minneapolis, Shakopee, and finally settled in Apple Valley in 1984. Shortly after moving to Apple Valley, Sandi started a career as a piano teacher. She gave lessons out of her home. This career lasted for 37 enjoyable years and hundreds of students passed through her classroom.

Sandi accepted Christ as her savior at a very young age. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Rosemount and while a member there, she sang in the choir, helped with the choir folders, assisted in the nursery, helped in the school cafeteria, and helped with VBT.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Sandi is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dan Di Marco, two sons Andy (Lisa) of Lakeville, and Shaun (Theresa) of Lakeville, her brother Bob Jones of Des Moines, Iowa, several nieces and nephews, and 8 of the best grandchildren that a grandma could hope to have.

Sandi loved singing in the church choir and being a substitute organist for the services. In lieu of flowers, she asks that memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Rosemount for the music department.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of the medical staff at all of the hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and hospice that provided Sandi with dedicated attention and care over the past 12 months as her health declined.
