Sean R. Thompson, age 44 of Lakeville, MN passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2025. Sean was born on November 29, 1980, in Edina, MN to Cheryl (nee; Otremba) and Douglas Thompson. Sean was a 1999 graduate of Lakeville High School. He worked as a kitchen manager at the Red Fox restaurant in Lakeville for many years.

Sean is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl. He is survived by his father, Doug; brother, Steve (Rachel) and nephew, Caeden Thompson, also by other family and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held 11:30 AM Thursday June 5, 2025, at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10:30 AM. Interment, All Saints Cemetery, Lakeville. Sean was an avid car and bike enthusiast, so in celebration of his life, attendees are encouraged to drive their collector car, bike, or truck.
