Shirley Ann Kuplic, age 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at her home at The Arbors at Ridges, surrounded by the love of family. Shirley was born on January 9,1935 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Clarence and Lillian DeGrave. Shirley graduated from East High School in 1953. Her involvement in the school Camera Club, where she took photos of her classmates, led to her job at a local camera store.

On April 7,1956 she married Donald Kuplic at St. Phillips Catholic Church. After welcoming their first two children in Green Bay, they moved to Rothschild, Wisconsin, where they were blessed with seven more children. In 1973, they settled in Burnsville MN, where they lived for five decades.

Throughout her life, Shirley put the needs of others before her own, inspiring everyone around her with her selflessness and quiet strength. While raising her children and later cherishing time with her grandchildren, she remained deeply devoted to her church, Saint John the Baptist, where she served faithfully in both the funeral and rosary ministries. Shirley also dedicated 25 years to serving others as a home health aide for Dakota County, providing compassionate care to those most in need. In addition, she volunteered in the gift shop at Ebenezer Homes, bringing joy to others and inspiring them throughout their day. Her final years were spent at The Arbors, where she made many friends and enjoyed the activities.

Shirley is preceded in death by her beloved son Michael, her parents Lillian and Clarence, and her brothers Reuben and Thomas DeGrave.

Shirley is survived by her husband Donald, and eight children; Douglas (Linda); David (Laurel); Daniel (Theresa); Paul; Patrick (Sue); Kathy Gleason (Jeff); John (Lynda); and Donald (Deb).

She has twenty-nine grandchildren including: Katie, Marie (Eddie), Lisa, Steven (Emily), Andrew (Francine), Christy (Ian), Mike (Larkin), Jenny (Alex), Tony (Kateri), Kelly (Kevin), Matthew, Paige, Joseph, Anna (Scott), Amy (Tyler), Joshua (Liz), Cassie (Anthony), Briana, Matthew (Katie), Joseph (Maria), William (Katie), Naomi (Brandon), Caleb (Ashley), Sami, Kasey, Madeline (Jake), Benjamin (Leela), Phillip (Kyra), and Sarah (Sam). She also has twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July15, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist, 4625 W 125th, Savage MN, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM and rosary at 9:10 AM. Burial at St John the Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: St John the Baptist Catholic Church; St Joseph's Indian School in Chamberlain, SD; or Action for Children Zambia.
