Susan Stanke, age 72, of Elko New Market, Minnesota, passed away on February 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her infant child, Peter, and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Greg; her children, Roxanne (Dave) Hall, Erich (Karissa) Roeller, Marie Roeller (Alton Howard), Jaime Stanke-Schmidt, and Jesse (Connie) Stanke; her siblings, Kathleen, Margaret, David, and James; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and by other loving relatives and friends.

Susan was an avid reader who found joy in quiet moments with a good book. She loved spending time outdoors, especially watching eagles soar overhead — something that brought her both peace and wonder. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she lovingly crocheted baby blankets for each of them, a gift that will remain a lasting reminder of her care and devotion. Susan had a wonderful sense of humor and an easy laugh that brightened every room. She loved her children deeply and had a remarkable way of welcoming and supporting their friends as if they were her own. Her kindness, warmth, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville, Minnesota. Memorial Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home
