Thomas F. White, age 92 of St. Louis Park, MN formerly of Lakeville, passed away peacefully with family at his side. Tom was born to Flavian "Bud" and Louise (Gephart) White. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Darlene; son, Bobby, siblings, Bob (Jo) White, Katherine Eilers, and Jim (Pat) White. He is survived by his son, Tim; daughter Karen (partner, Jill); daughter in law, Argerie; "adopted" daughter' Suzanne Ferguson; grandchildren, Kieran White, and Mac and Morgan Ferguson, siblings, Sr. Mary White, and Patricia (Ed) Pendleton also, by many nieces, nephews and other family.

Tom graduated from Lakeville high in 1951 and attended St John's University for 1 year before transferring to the University of Minnesota on a baseball scholarship.  In 1954 he joined the Army and was quickly transferred into special services to play shortstop for the Army Baseball team in France. After 2 years in Special Services, he returned to St John's University and graduated in 1957.

After retirement, he loved to travel and took many trips to Ireland, Province Town - Cape Cod, and Canada with friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with the grandkids, playing racquetball and cribbage.

He felt strongly about Social Justice and spent 40 years speaking at schools and churches on Justice, Acceptance of LGBTQ Community and Disparity in Military Spending.  For 30 years he created "Anti-Military" Cards with distribution of over 10,000/year.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday July 16, 2026 at All Saints Catholic Church, Lakeville, MN with a visitation on Wednesday (7/15) from 4 -7 PM at the White Funeral Home in Lakeville, and 1 hr. prior to Mass at church.

In leu of flowers donations can be made to the following Charities: St Paul Monastery, Minneapolis Friends Meeting or Spirit of St Stephens Catholic Community.
