Thomas "Tom" Patrick Donnelly age 63 of Lakeville, MN passed away on October 15, 2025 after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Tom was born in Farmington, MN on February 4, 1962 to Lawrence "Snork" and Jeanne Donnelly. Tom was a 1980 graduate of Lakeville High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from UW River Falls, he worked as an accountant at CarQuest and Thomson Reuters for majority of his career. Tom was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast who enjoyed cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, Wild and Golden Gophers. In his younger years he played town ball for the New Market Muskies, competed in softball leagues regularly, and coached his son's sports teams. Tom was a self-taught electrician and mechanic who was willing to wire your house or change your brakes while never asking for a dime. His handiness and loyalty to friends and family knew no bounds as he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a loving dad whose son could not be prouder to have him as a father. Tom was a man of simple pleasures that included spending time with friends and family, piano bars, being a twin, doing things on his own schedule, and an ice cold Miller Lite. Tom was an ever optimist who only had a positive outlook on life and chose to see the good in others, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John "Stump" Donnelly. He is survived by his son, Chane (Madison Reimringer) Donnelly; siblings, twin-brother Tim (Darla), Connie (Mike) Doherty, Jay "Sled" (Patty), Larry (Jean), Jeff (Melissa), Mark, sister-in-law, Michelle Donnelly; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and close friends.

Tom will be laid to rest at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in a private service.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-7 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Heritage Links Golf Club, 8075 Lucerne Blvd. Lakeville, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
