Tyler Lee Peterson, beloved brother, son, fiancé, and friend, unexpectedly passed away July 28th 2025 at the age of 28.

Tyler had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether it was spending time at the cabin, sitting by a bonfire under the stars or watching the sunset, fishing from his boat, or ice fishing in the dead of winter, nature was where he felt most at home. He was also a dedicated hunter who cherished the quiet and the challenge of the woods.

What made Tyler truly special was his heart. He was the kind of person who showed up—always. No matter how big or small the project or adventure, he was there, ready to lend a hand, offer a laugh, or just be present. His loyalty, patience, and sense of adventure made him someone people relied on, looked up to, and loved deeply.

Preceded in death by father, Terry Peterson; grandmother, Ann Peterson; grandfather, Charlie Dennison; uncle, Richard Peterson. Survived by his mother, Corisa Peterson; brother, Derek (Carolyn) Peterson; nephew and godson, Tristan Peterson; fiancé, Raelyn Haan; sister, Anita Mihelcich; grandparents, Ronald and Patricia Menke; grandmother, Janice Dennison; grandfather, Arlyn Peterson. His presence will be missed more than words can say.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 9th at 11am with the service beginning at 12pm at Christiania Lutheran Church, 26691 Pillsbury Ave. Lakeville MN 55044. All who knew Tyler are welcome to come celebrate his life, share stories, and honor the man who never hesitated to say "yes" when someone needed him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Tyler by spending a day outdoors, helping a friend, or making a memory—just the way he would have.
