Obituary

Tyrone Lovick, age 30 of Lakeville passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2026 at his home. Tyrone was born on August 14, 1996 in Minneapolis, the son of Mike & Shelley Lovick. Tyrone brought immense light, curiosity and joy to the world from the day he arrived. Tyrone lives a life with a passionate heart, a gentle spirit, and a sense of wonder.

He spent his career as a counselor where he is known as the "guy who helps everyone." (he receives many thank-you letters from patients who experience his help). Outside of work, Tyrone is the happiest when spending time with his daughter, Zoey. They have a special bond that will never be broken. Tyrone also loves the Vikings; he is in charge of several different Fantasy Football leagues and can talk stats with anyone. He is an avid golfer and likes the challenge of new courses. Tyrone is a big movie buff and enjoys all genres of music (except country). His quick wit, kindness, and unwavering generosity will leave a lasting mark on everyone who knows him.

He is survived by his parents Mike and Shelley; brother Dylan, sister Dakota, daughter Zoey, and a large community of family and friends who love him fiercely.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, MN. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5th at 2pm at Celebration Church in Lakeville. In lieu of flowers, planting trees can be made in Tyrone's memory to A Living Tribute (alivingtribute.org). Tyrone sure enjoys the outdoors, so we want this to be a living tribute for present & future generations.

Revelation 21:3-4; 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.[a] 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
