Vivienne Lien (Johnson) age 93 of Burnsville passed away with her loving husband at her side on July 19, 2026. Vivienne was born in San Jose, CA and grew up in South Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Sadie Johnson, siblings Marilyn (Pat) Madison, Gerald and William Johnson. On April 24, 1954, she married her high school sweetheart Glen Lien and they shared 72 wonderful years together. They have two children, Gary (Kris) Lien and Kathy (Ron) Schneider. Six grandchildren, Amanda, Melinda (Jason), Sheena (Greg), Garrett (Alyssa), Matt (Allison) and Katie (Luke). Four great grandchildren, Braxton, Makayla, Austrie and Aiden.

During their married life they lived in various locations retiring in 1986 to Walker, MN on
the shores of Leech Lake. Vivienne was a very caring and compassionate person who always put others first.

She enjoyed her family foremost and the simple things in life. Vivienne found pleasure in feeding birds, playing golf, quilting, book club and gardening. She wants her loved ones to remember her with joy and not sorrow. She will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts. If you had her as a friend, you had a good friend!

Per her request, there will be a private family service held at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
