William Robert Olson "Bill" age 87 of Burnsville, MN passed away peacefully on June 19, 1926 in Bloomington, MN. Bill was born on July 31, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN to Walter and Grace Olson. Bill proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Bill married Edith Olson on October 10, 1964. After the Air Force Bill worked as a Radar Crew Chief for the Minneapolis and Farmington Air Traffic Control system.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jane (Bob Mahre, Doris (Robert) O'Brien and Carl Olson. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Edith; children, Debra (Gaylen) Anderson, and Rick Olson; grandchildren, Ben (Kayley) and Nick Andersen, and their father Jeff Andersen; sister-in-law, Sandra Olson, also by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday June 30, 2026 at White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave S., Burnsville, with visitation starting at 9 AM. Interment: Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
