Bernice Fischer, 80, of Richfield, MN, passed away peacefully September 27 after a lengthy hospital stay.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clara and Albert Fischer of Oak Park, MN; her brothers John and Anthony; sisters Eleanor Brunette and Loretta Fischer.  She is survived by her brothers and sisters:  Lorraine Fischer, Margaret Fischer, Thomas Fischer, Theresa Andrews, Mary Edwards, Paul Fischer, Frances Jenson,  Joseph Fischer, Albert Fischer, Geraldine Olson, and Virginia  Schreiner and , and many nieces and nephews.

She was a  graduate of Foley High School, Foley, MN. She used her office skills learned there to  work in the insurance industry.  Bernice was a very charitable person and was always there to help when needed. She loved to cook and when you went to pick her up to take her out to eat, she'd have a full meal waiting for you instead, complete with desert. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 1501 East County Road 42 , Burnsville, MN, at 11:00 AM, October 1st. Visitation at 10:00 AM at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley before mass.  Burial services to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.
