Daniel John Schooley Jr, age 66 of Burnsville, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 24, 2022. Dan's favorite things in life were simple and few; his wife, his family, and sports.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Dan Schooley Sr., and father-in-law Stan Ronneberg.

Survived by beloved wife of 40 years, Jane; daughters, Kelsey (Brian) Hynes, Haley (Ben) Lehmann, and Madison (Hudson) Fasching; grandchildren, Libby and Danny Hynes, Everly Lehmann, and baby Fasching due in August; sister, Ginger (Chuck) McCullough; mother-in-law, Pauline Ronneberg; brother and sister-in-laws: Dave and Carolyn Ronneberg; Connie and Al Ertz; and many loved nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the nurse and bystander who stopped to do CPR, the amazing staff from Burnsville fire department, Ridges ER and ICU.

Funeral service Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9600 163rd St W. DOOR 5, visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM prior to the service. Interment, Lebanon Cemetery, Apple Valley, MN.
