Tingelhoff, H., Michael "Mick" age 81 of Lakeville, MN passed away peacefully surrounded  by family at his side, on September 11, 2021.  Mick was born in Lexington, NE on May 22, 1940 to Henry and Clara Tingelhoff.  He was the youngest of 6 children.  He attended the University of Nebraska where he met his wife, Phyllis.  He played football for the Cornhuskers and the Minnesota Vikings.  He was a Vikings for 17 years from 1962-1978.  He was inducted into the Vikings Ring of Honor in 2002 and then inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2015.  He loved football, hunting and the outdoors but always first was faith and family.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Teri Realander, his brother and two sisters.  He is survived by wife Phyllis, sons Michael (Diane) and Patrick (Krishna) Tingelhoff, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville, MN with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10 AM at church. Interment, All Saints Cemetery.
