Jay W. Brask,  "Wes" age 84 of Apple Valley went peacefully to be with his Lord on July 12, 2023, with his family at his side. Jay was born on March 10, 1939, in Minneapolis Mn to Herbert and Ruth Brask. He proudly served as an Edina police officer for 30+ years before his retirement. Jay is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Beverly (Glen) Nordell, Priscilla (Lowell) Johnson, Barbara (Jim) Elrod, June (Jim) Linman, Patty Rodine, and Craig Brask. Jay is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judy; children, Brad, Dana (Jake) Huffman, and John (Marty) Brask; grandchildren, Hayden, Logan, Ronan, and Gunnar; brother, Rodger (Faith) Brask; brother-in-law, Jim Rodine, also by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 20th, 2023, at Berean Baptist Church, 309 Co. Rd 42 E., Burnsville, MN with a visitation starting at 10 AM. Private family interment, Lake Jennie Cemetery, Dassel, MN. Memorials will be donated to Campus Crusade (Cru), and Berean Baptist Church.
