Simondet, Jerome Benjamin (Jerry) , age 91 of Burnsville, MN, passed away on March 3, 2022, ready to resume his new life with his precious wife, Marlene, who passed away on May 3, 2014. Jerry met Marlene when they both attended Minneapolis Central High School in 1947. God blessed this wonderful union of marriage of 62 years with 12 children: Rebecca (Brad) Stone, Deborah (Mike) Hogan, Kevin (Karen) Romain-Simondet, Jeff (Greta) Simondet, Theresa (Dale) Ohme, Victoria Simondet Pechan (James), Brian (Terrianne) Simondet, Vincent (Georgia) Simondet, Christopher (Barbara) Simondet, Jennifer (Tony) Taschner, Cynthia (Scott) Schram, and Stephen (Shelly) Simondet. Also survived by sister Michele (Curt) Schiebel, sisters-in-law Catherine Simondet and Connie Aram, and brothers-in-law Lawrence Schaefer, David DuLac, and Jerry DuLac. Jerry and Marlene were the proud grandparents of 35 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Jerry had graduate degrees from St. Thomas University and the University of Minnesota, and served in the Air Force. He was a principal in the Minneapolis Public Schools, serving Sanford, Phillips, North and Edison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 Co. Rd. 42, Burnsville, MN, at 11 a.m. March 8, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
