Larry Dee Bell

(June 18, 1948-January 26, 2023)

Larry Dee Bell age 74, of Farmington, sadly left us on January 26, 2023.  Larry was born in Farmington on June 18, 1948, to George and Esther Bell.  He graduated from Farmington High School in 1966 and continued to The University of Minnesota.  After one semester he returned home to work for his Dad at City Club Distributing.  Larry married Trish Pepera on February 15, 1974. He worked for his Dad until 1979 when they purchased the business. They sold the business in 1985 and bought into Hardees.  In 1989, they relocated to Arkansas for two and half years before returning to Farmington.  After their return home they bought a Big Apple Bagels Franchise where they had restaurants in Eagan and Apple Valley.  After selling the bagel shops in 2002 he ventured into bus driving, real estate, and retail. He was an uber driver, and auto parts delivery guy and worked at Pellicci Hardware.  Larry was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time at their hunting land up north.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, George and Esther Bell; brother, Georgie Bell; sister, Barbara Lawler; mother and father in law, Jim and Lois Pepera; brothers-in-law, Dean Erickson, Jon Hanson, David Pepera, and Jerry Lawler. He is survived by his loving wife, Trish; children, Cory (Angie) Bell, Jaclyn (Tee) Tran, and Jessica (Mike Ristow) Bell; grandchildren, Matt and Zach Bell, Ava and Ella Denninger, and Amia Tran; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 22120 Denmark Ave., Farmington, with a gathering of family and friends 1 hour before service at church. A visitation will also be held Monday, January 30, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 at White's Funeral Homes in Farmington.
