Mary T. Thul (Pomerleau), age 93, of Burnsville, MN passed away on July 10, 2021 was born in Minneapolis and raised in Robbinsdale, MN. Most of her life was spent in Worthington, MN where her husband, Dr. Joseph R Thul, practiced podiatric medicine and foot surgery. Mary was the office manager of her husband's podiatric practice. After her husband retired in 1989, they moved to the Minneapolis area. Following retirement in 1989, Dr. and Mrs. Thul enjoyed their RV and visited 46 states. They enjoyed 4 trips to Europe and in 1990 spent 3 weeks in the Canary Islands, (during this trip they spent 2 days in Gambia, West Africa). She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dr. Joseph R. Thul: parents. Amos and Aurore (Gagne) Pomerleau and brother Lawrence (Phyllis) Pomerleau, sister Elaine (Robert) Hirsch, sisters-in-law, Antoinette (Raymond) Schoen, Lorriane (Stephan) Polucha and Delores Ann (James "Bub") Spettstessoer, brothers-in-law, Milton Chabot, William Jurney, James Kozloski and Donald Cameron. Mary is survived by nieces, Monya Helm Prybyla, Teresa "Terri" (James) Robichon, Monica Hirsch and Anne Hirsch; sisters-in- law, Joyce Kozloski and Bernadine (Bernie)Cameron; and many nieces, nephews and a special cousin, Dan Doboszenski. Mass of Christian Burial at the will be held 11 AM Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 County Rd. 42, Burnsville, MN, with a visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment, Church of St. Mary of the Purification Cemetery in Marystown, MN. "Mary will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh."
